Nina completed her TCM training in Toronto before pursuing additional training in Beijing. During her 3 months there, she expanded her hands-on clinical exposure, treating stroke patients and observing complex cases. Her training in Master Tung’s acupuncture system and scalp acupuncture also enhances her clinical approach.

Nina specializes in pain management, neurological conditions, gynecological concerns, and dermatological issues. She has supported patients with sciatica, knee pain, TMJ, irregular menses, dysmenorrhea, insomnia, stress, hives, hypertension, and more.

Depending on your needs, Nina may incorporate modalities like auricular acupuncture, ear seeds, cupping, bloodletting, and moxibustion. She integrates traditional and modern acupuncture methods to enhance effectiveness and help shorten recovery periods. Mia Zhou, R.TCMP, R.Ac is an acupuncturist and herbalist who is passionate about patient-centred, holistic, and natural treatment. She has a keen interest in improving gastrointestinal health to treat a comprehensive range of chronic and acute health issues including digestive complaints, sleep and energy, stress and emotional imbalances, gynaecology/fertility/menopause, dermatology and allergies, endocrine and nervous system illnesses, HEENT issues, and so much more. For musculoskeletal injury and pain, she combines needling with breathwork and/or stretching to effectively treat MSK disorders.

Mia brings to her clinical toolbox a breadth of work and life experience in teaching and the arts. Her practices in meditation and qigong greatly inform her treatment method.
